Our Team

Our dedicated team is led by President Jane Sparnon and Vice President Simon Cashin, supported by Treasurer Gary Pearce and Junior Vice President Monte Neal.

Our Councilors are Clare Willis, Christine Barton, Christine Lischner, Dana Hughes, Kelly Hancock, Paul Hancock, Rebekah Hayes, Robb Kemp and Wayne Hughes. Our wider General Committee supports all areas of the Kumeu Agricultural and Horticultural Society, including the Kumeu Showgrounds, Kumeu Show and Kumeu Market.

Staff

Events and Marketing Manager and Kumeu Show Manager, Hannah Burns leads the planning, coordination and promotion of the Kumeu Show, as well as marketing and events at the Kumeu Showgrounds.

Kumeu Market Manager, Bree Sparnon manages the Kumeu Market and its stallholders and visitors.

Caretaker, Greg Short looks after the Kumeu Showgrounds, supports its day-to-day activities and events, and cares for the Society’s farm and sheep.
